SURVIVAL INSTINCTS PPD  SET

 

This survival instincts set addresses the three primal and primitive survival instincts that dominate our lives in the immediate moment. They are the driving force behind our ego, our negative emotions, our false beliefs, our suffering and our diseases. These are the most unrecognized human phenomena and yet possibly the biggest difficulty we face.

The way you know you're survival instincts are overactive beyond the call of duty - to save your life in an emergency - is if you are reactive to ordinary life, to events, to others. Do you react immediately to events and you cannot control the reaction in the first fractions of a second and for seconds afterwards? It happens, then you realize it, but it's already too late. If you react, that’s your survival instincts. Another certain indicator is negative emotions like resentment, guilt, jealousy (not positve feelings like joy, peace, harmony, creativity). Strong negative emotions are a sure sign of hyperactive survival instincts.

Listen in this order
Fight - the urge to fight, defend, resist, be stubborn, sceptical, angry, violent, huge pectoral muscles- arm-y etc.
Flight - the urge to run away, escape, space out, nervous, anticipatory, anywhere but here etc.
Freeze - panic, helplessness, under breathing, wallflower posture in life, under responsive, minimizing, intellectualizing etc.

Listen to each one for seven days. Once a day is enough but feel free to listen as often as you like. Then wait a week before starting the next one. Then start again to deepen the effects. Until calmness is your basic nature.

When you are finally happy with these a good plan is to move onto Here Now and Integration from the Foundation Set. Or to Alternate these two.
